No problem. You can still benefit from participating in the Plan. The PSW retirement program is designed to complement your existing savings. Contributions made through your employer will be invested separately and won’t affect your personal RRSP or TFSA limits.
Yes. Part-time workers and individuals with more than one employer are eligible. Participation may vary depending on each employer’s involvement, but the program is designed to offer flexibility and coverage across different employment arrangements.
Your savings stay with you. If you move to a different job, your investments remain in your account. You can continue managing your funds independently, and if your new employer also offers the program, contributions can continue seamlessly.
No. Your contributions are always yours, and you have access to your account at any time. However, because this is a long-term retirement savings plan, there may be restrictions or tax implications for early withdrawals depending on the investment type.
